When choosing which organizations and charitable actions to support, the TITAN Impact team is particularly drawn to projects that address several of the five key areas we cover.
namely:
- Community development
- Health and well-being
- Training
- Environment
- Sport
So how could I resist the opportunity to help the under-14 girls’ team of the Danish club Rudersdal Håndbold, which brings together players from the towns of Ydun, AB, Brøndby, Ledøje Smørum and Virum?
With sport, community development, health and well-being all covered, it is no wonder that we have been helping these players for several years .
Our latest commitment has been to provide new equipment: not only did the young players need new white-striped tracksuits for their matches, but they were also looking for fleece jackets to keep them warm during training sessions during Denmark’s typically cold winters.
As the photo shows, the girls were also able to personalize their equipment with their own number, just like their heroines on the Danish women’s team, one of the best teams in the world.
WHY WE CHOSE TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
This project meets many criteria: young players, a fantastic sport that is gaining popularity, and players from different regions. TITAN Impact ‘s goal is to build communities and inspire positive change, and Rudersdal Håndbold perfectly embodies this.
